We meet in each others' houses for French Lit group. To the right of the armchair is a glowing log fire, wine not included - but completed the cosiness!!
It's a book called 'Celles qui attendent' by Fatou Diome and treats the theme of mothers/wives in Senegal waiting and worrying about their sons/husbands who have emigrated illegally to Spain. There are 8 ladies in the group which I have been a member of since 2007 and we meet once a month on a Friday morning.
Hope to see more corners maybe?

I certainly hope so - lots I enjoy in our house and garden! Thank you for the idea!
It's formidable compared with the last book we read: nearly 300 pages of dense text, very descriptive, hardly any paragraphs - good though!!!
We're in the south of England . First Friday of each month!!
