K collage

it was snowing hard early this morning and there was a blowing wind when i set out for the boardwalk to find my K. i found bare trees with their branches forming k's if you look at them from certain direction. there was also this building with all these protruding rods that at first glance they look like k's. after freezing my butt off, they'd have to do.

methinks they're all passable for k's. wonder what the challenge master would say? :-)
yes, great K's. good eye!

You found some wonderful "k's." Especially like the third photo . . looks like a dancing K. You're as brave OR as crazy as I was for going out today. I almost froze solid! And so did my poor camera. :)

@sunnygreenwood - thank you, anne.

@karenann - if we're both crazy, i suppose we're in good company! i had my bridge camera inside my coat yesterday and tested this pair of gloves that was touted as the photographer's mitts. thumbs down! thank you, karenann.

Honey, they don't make gloves good enough for photographers in our kind of climates! I have bought many pairs and end up pulling the one glove off, because it interferes with my usage. The glove manufacturers ought to use you and me as "testers!" We could tell them in a hurry what works and what doesn't. We're not just playing around here. :)

Great k's. I've seen photographer gloves and thought I don't think I'll waste the money

@sanera - bought it on sale :-) the only nice thing about it is even though it is thick, i can easily navigate the buttons and dials of my camera, just that i easily get carried away when i see a good photo op and i tend to linger until my buns freeze. thank you, sam.

You are too funny- challenge master! haha! lol I like the middle one- it's the easiest for me to see- but I'm not one to gauge things by anymore. I no longer see things for what they are. To me the whole world is made of alphabet letters now.

@olivetreeann - oh my goodness, ann, isn't that true. everywhere i look i see letters or i can make out letters. the other day, a lady asked me what was wrong with the trees. she must've been wondering why i was just standing in the middle of the snowy ground just gazing at the trees. and i asked her if she could see the letter k in the branches. she looked at the branches for a while, shook her head and left. she must've been thinking i was nuts! hahahaha. thank you, ann.

@summerfield lol too Vikki! As I was leaving the sanctuary at church I saw an X and an O, so I pulled out my camera and took the picture. Of course I then had to explain to everybody who was watching me photograph the legs of the keyboard stand, WHY I found the legs of the keyboard stand worth photographing- yes, I'm afraid most people are thinking we are nuts now.

The middle one gets my vote. Boy! I remember how cold it got in February. Do people still cross country ski on the island?

@joannapayne - they probably do still, but i've never gone there in the winter. thank you, joanna.
