my friend chickened out on me on the ferris wheel ride. her man wanted to go but wouldn't if she wouldn't come. but heck, i came to ride the ferris wheel and ride i did. by myself. and when they locked the door on the car/cage whatever they call it, that's when i realized i should've gone to the washroom first after drinking that big glass of iced tea during lunch!
but i can certainly do it, i'm not afraid of heights. i just feel queasy looking down, and dizzy when the darn thing moves. but heck, i came to ride the ferris wheel and take photos of the city scape and that i did.
excluding loading and unloading time, a ride is about three and half revolution which takes about seven to eight minutes. during this loading and unloading time, you can find yourself (i found myself) at the very top of the ferris wheel 55 feet off the ground (queasy stomach growls). and you have an almost unobstructed view of the city and the neighbouring boroughs, and even buffalo, new york. almost, not quite, because the doors of the cage still bar you from having a full view. of course, at this height you get to see both the american and the horseshoe falls at the same time.
rides cost $12.85 per person, taxes included.

thank you for your kind visits and comments. know that they are much appreciated.
Well this is a gorgeous pov .... it's worth the money, the queasiness, and other uncomfortable feelings just to get that photo view and op! Wish that I'd been with you. :)
