animal

the bee hails from the animal kingdom, the insect kind. i'd have my neighbour's photo in here but he saw me with my camera and he placed his cap on his face and now i know the bastard's actually bald. they make too much noise in the middle of the night, but complains when the other tenants play music during the day because he's sleeping. but how did we get into the topic of my neighbour? ah, animal.

yes, the bee is an animal and the way he's at it with this lavender flower, boy! he is an animal. ;-)

Fabulous capture ... he really is working that flower over! Maybe he doesn't like your neighbor either! Ah ... neighbors. We are blessed at the moment to have great neighbors. The quiet kind. Thank you, God.

@cscecil - thank you, CS. that guy came back hobbling tonight, no wonder there are no heavy footsteps bugging me.

@roth - sue, you are a funny, funny girl. my canon now takes way better macros after i dropped it three weeks ago while i was at allen gardens. however, i noticed the last few days that when i turn it on, it won't turn on and i would have to fiddle with the battery compartment then turn it on before i could use it. and the landscapes are not in focus. i'm thinking because it got wet when i used it in niagara last weekend, it just exacerbated the effect of the fall. thank you, sue.
