partner and i love good food and we love to dine out. every year we buy this coupon book called "entertainment" and we use the coupons mostly for the fine dining. that's how we discover the great restaurants around Toronto. we have a favourite Italian resto in the west end and last night we went to 'il vagabondo' which is a block away from my office in downtown. most times the waiters or managers remember us because we always give tips equal to or more than the equivalent of the discount we get.

I love risotto and it is gluten free! yay! When I am in France, I eat a lot of "fruits des mare" (SP?) I love it, and I know what I am getting! haha This looks good.
@espyetta@ness50 - would you believe it, i didn't finish this so i had the rest to go. well, partner forgot to ask the waiter for it, or the waiter forgot to hand it to partner. i was already in the car because our parking ticket has expired. so i called the restaurant and asked if i can pick it up at lunchtime today. which i did, but i didn't have it for lunch because we had a plated lunch at the meeting today. so the leftover is in the fridge in the office hopefully so i don't have to buy lunch tomorrow. thank you, MB. thank you, ness.
