and yet i've only now noticed that there is some sort of banister-like detailing just above the cornice. in the two previous photographs of this belfry, my main concern was to capture the huge bell, which was quite difficult to do as you have to be way farther to get that particular view point or you have to be at an elevated vantage point (which i'm still aiming to find!). but today upon examining this shot, that's when i notice the other details of this beautiful church.

Isn't this the most fabulous thing about photography; the ability to shoot the same object (be it an item or landscape) and see something different each time; this is by far my favourite shot of the other two you linked in
