in freeman Patterson's "photography and the art of seeing", he says that "a photographer controls colour by both selection and technique", by adding, changing or eliminating colours by altering camera position, by varying time of day, or by extending or reducing the duration of exposure, or by using filters or computer or darkroom manipulation.
my young boss is so lucky, she has two summerfields in her office and i took care of her orchid and made it grow two stems of beautiful flowers when it originally only had one.
thank you for your kind views and comments; i appreciate you all.
this is pretty... i like the CN tower in the photo in the background...
btw, when i was with my hubby in the car this morning we passed by the passageway to the pasture (you know, where the cow statues are?)... the morning light looked absolutely exquisite... might be worth a quick trip first thing before going to work some day if you have time
I manage to kill all orchids, so will not go there again :) I love the juxtaposition of the softness of the flower as oposed to the structured city. I need to get me a book soon :)you are getting loads of nice ideas and shots out of these.
