i missed the opportunity of taking little ivy jean's photo while she was eating ice cream last night for this day's post. but post-migraine and chasing two tireless children running around with soda pop or food in their hands make for quite an (mis)adventure.
but partner and i are back to our normal life now that they've gone back to their parents. whew! so while dinner was simmering on the stove, i ran to the parkette and snipped a twig of ivy leaves. should've used a darker background to bring out the ice more but if you just turn your head a certain position, you'd make out the shape of the ice cubes. :-)
what a weekend and in three weekends from now we shall have the two older grandsons.
