i deleted my previous post but this still is not how i envisioned it to be. however, this is much better to look at than the one with the hour glass. my post processing skills are almost nil and taking a self portrait in long exposure inside the living room doesn't really cut it for me. i don't mind so much taking shots outside when it's cold, but it has been raining since yesterday and that put a damper, literally and figuratively, in my quest for some ghostly shots. i think i will need to kidnap someone so i can take night shots in or around some old decrepit buildings around town.
but what i'm proud of is that all three photos are mine and i didn't have to swipe someone else's space photo or use the effects in ribbet. when partner and i went to port dover during our long weekend, i stayed by the lighthouse after i did my sunset photos. the night sky was so clear it was full of stars. of course it helped that i was too far away from the street lights. the streak across the clock was actually a plane that appeared out of nowhere.
this is a three-fer. for the five plus two's "between" theme this week. i was also aiming to get this on the weekly theme ghostly but i'm too alive to be a ghost. tagging this also for the on going six-word story challenge.
that's it for me. it's late and my back's painful from sitting in front of the laptop. goodnight, folks.
Very impressive with great post editing skill in spite of your disclaimer to the contrary. Such a creative fertile mind you have to even envision this shot!
