warning: if you have to do panning shots using a toy, make sure you have someone to play with.
i had this in my mind when the "on the go" theme was scheduled for the 365 toy group. and i was quite excited with the idea. the little purple cow "driving" the "invisible" car. then when i was all set to shoot this it occurred to me that someone pretty much had to push the toy while i manned the camera. then the light bulb suddenly showed up above my head. i got a long thread and tied it to the front of the car and tied the other end to my back scratcher which was about half a yard long. set the car with the cow on the table's edge (secured by a piece of silly putty), pre-focus the camera, then set it to multiple shot function. after about 60 plus shots, i got one decent panning shot which went into the toy group album and this one for today's "action" shot for the one night stand challenge.
@lisabell - easier if you have someone to man the toy rather than you doing all the work. i would've loved the car and little wahoo to be sharper here because the movement in that background is just so amazing. the one i used for the toy group posting had less background. thank you, lisabell.
