for my get-pushed and one night stand abstract posting last wednesday, november 19th, i had written that i will give a bar of chocolate or a bottle of ouzo to the one who would correctly guess what the object was.
katy @grammyn had made quite a few guesses and some of you did, too. i had promised to post the original photo but as i'm an old person, i do forget things but i try to fulfill my promises as i don't make impossible ones, at least i try not to.
thank you, katy, for reminding me of my faux pas so here you go. the original photo of that abstract picture.
however, only one person guessed it correctly and that was my get-pushed partner sheralee @bella_ss and if she's within mailing distance i'd send her the ouzo. :-) and that is, if she wants it.
how the final abstract photo was achieved: converted it to black and white. saved a copy in inverted colours and overlaid it with the one in right colour. and just to confused you more, i flipped the image upside down, then upped the exposure contrasts and voilà!
Oh, only just saw this one as we don't get notifications when we are tagged in the caption. Yay, I feel like a winner and congrats on making final 5!! I don't think the ouzo would make it to Oz intact. I honestly couldn't make out how the stairs and railings were but it is what it looked like. If I ever make it back to Ontario I'll come knocking on your door for my ouzo ;-)
I had a feeling it was a railing and its shadow on some steps as I'd taken one like that when I met Bev in VT. But I refrained so Katy could post a few more guesses. Thanks for the reveal!
@summerfield Really Vikki! You know how I feel about chocolate!! But you don't have to send it- I'll collect it in the spring. Nonetheless, I'll send an email with the address as requested just in case.
