this was shot fourteen floors above from the restaurant of the sheraton hotel in niagara falls. christine, cathy and i had buffet dinner at the top of the sheraton and we were seated with a view of the falls. this gazebo is part of the hotel. it is a beautiful garden in the spring and summer. these days it is just a repository of snow, which here is about a foot and a half of pure virgin white stuff.
well done! how lucky you were to be up so high! I like the light on the path and the shadows it casts and the footprints in the snow and the lighting in general!
My theory is that Jackie just wanted to get you to climb up and then descend another snowing slope. ;-) I like your title - I get shot down all the time!
