freezing by summerfield

freezing

sad. sad. one of the roses in last night's arrangement wilted because its stem didn't get in the vase so it was sans water overnight. what to do? make the most use of it even in its dying moments and shoot it in the snow/ice in that freezing cold outside.

for the f-word challenge this week, the theme is "free". there's free in freezing and it's free, too! and when you're dead (no, not you, the rose) you're free of the world's aggavation, just like this rose.
I really like this. It reminds me of something lost and forgotten.

super pic, another time to revive it cut the stem diagonally and immerse cut edge in just boiled water count to 20 then put into luke warm water supporting the head by wrapping in paper - it works most times and is worth a try if you don't want to take a pic ;o)

I thought of using the free in freezing. I'm glad you did. This is lovely! Well conceived and so dedicated to freeze to shoot the rose's freedom! Hope you ate lunch!
