a couple takes a selfie with the niagara falls for a backdrop.
on thursday, i met up with ann @olivetreeann and bill @bill_fe in niagara falls. we did the maid of the mist boat tour and had our cameras wet from the water spray from the falls, not to mention ourselves. good thing we did our "selfies" before we did the falls thing. so then i had time to amuse myself taking photos of people taking photos of themselves. and some!
we had a fun day, of course! we had our lunch which was quite a bit of disaster, although it turned out well in the end. bill went to pitch his tent somewhere and came back to the canadian side where we went around dufferin islands and taking night shots of the falls. we were hungry again and after a late dinner, we headed home to reconvene in medina, NY, the next morning.
just got back home from chicago. so tiring but i enjoyed the five days of shooting, plus two days with my brother bringing me to all sorts of places for photo-ing. photos today haven't been sorted out yet so a filler, plus this was fun to take.

Great fun candid capture. I am constantly amazed at the lengths people will go to to get a selfie! What happened to asking someone to take a quick pic? It sounds like you had a nice meet up at the Falls.
there will be no doubt that they were there. I wonder if a (more solid) stick would work when I want to take pictures of something in a tree that's above eye-level. I don't fancy carrying a ladder around.
What an awesome day! A meet up with some 365-ers! Sounds wonderful. I have a selfie stick. My hubby gave it to me. It has been a source of fun when I get around groups of people...we all try to figure out how to get the shot and giggle giggle giggle. Much more fun than asking someone to take your pic.and..you can get these cool "birds eye view" shots too. I took one with my class a few weeks ago. I will post it one day if I ever get caught up. Hope you are doing well.
