but the locals and tourism brochures still tout it as one of the most spectacular sunsets in the world. it once was. before the reclamation of the bay where the Mall of Asia now stands, as well as other hotels and condominium buildings that now proliferate the landscape. before all those boats and barges appeared in the horizon, now they are a constant fixture of the bay which i think contributed to the bay's diminished beauty.
i remember as a child, my parents would bring us to the water, lots of families did, especially on sundays after church. i know i have a picture near the breakwater. but now there is a constant smell of sewage even though the government tried hard to clean it up.
today the sky was clear save for those little clouds by the horizon. i'll try again this afternoon and hope for a bit more clouds for a more dramatic sky.
