@olivetreeann - i just cropped this off a larger shot, overly processed it and stopped only when i saw the colour. the monitor at the office shows it is more on the green side, the laptop at home shows brownish gold and that's the colour when i decided i liked it. thank you, ann.

I love the way the light hits it at certain key places...and now I know, since I am late to this soiree, that it is a plant or flower. Did we ever learn what kind? I am guessing orchid. It's a cool photo!
