I had a 10 a.m. appointment today at Llandrindod hospital which I'd been waiting for for months (nothing serious by the way). I checked in at reception and was told to sit in the waiting room. After about 20 minutes someone asked me why I was there. When I told her she said "Oh, didn't anyone call you? Your appointment's been cancelled and rescheduled for the same time tomorrow". Imagine how annoyed I was. It's a 40 minute drive to the hospital (and 40 minutes back) and it's not as if it's a busy time of year or anything!! I decided to calm myself down by going to the cafe by the lake and having a coffee and a cake. When I got there I discovered that the cafe is shut until after New Year!!! Today was not going well. I couldn't really take many photos because it was pouring with rain but I did manage to stand underneath the overhanging roof of the cafe and take a few. I rather liked these ducks.
I know that feeling. I had that happen about a month ago, but it was only 15 minutes away........ The receptionist had not put my appointment on the right day of the calendar..... and the cafe... and the rain. Nope! Not a good start on the day. We don't need this at this time of year, especually. (Nice ducky photo, however!!)
Poor you !! these things are so annoying !! and another day wasted tomorrow just before Christmas Day !! Keep calm !! and hope all goes well tomorrow for you !
So annoying, and no cake or coffee either! We were having an argument with the non delivery of a bed here so it wasn't our day either. I did at least have some lovely tapas with friends later though.
