I ran out to take sunrise photos this morning as it was the last one (except for a layover) on Oahu for this trip. The cloud cover prevented me from getting the initial rise, but the trade-off made it worth it, once the color came up. It was a great visit and such fun photographing! It was also the nicest resort I've ever stayed in!
I hope you aren't bored with palm trees and sun shots! I'm guessing this won't be the last!

@kwind We were at the Kahala Resort which is right on the ocean but outside of Waikiki. It really was spectacular -- a longtime resort with a strong sense of tradition. And the dolphin lagoons which were my favorite part.
@taffy I've been to Waikiki 10 times but never heard of that place. We always stay in Waikiki! I prefer Maui but my husband and kids like Waikiki better.
