Sorry so late, friends. My youngest son had just finished up a ten-day stint in the hospital for thoracic surgery following a collapsed lung and he was rushed back in on Thursday afternoon for complications. He's doing well now, but I have truly lost track of the days of the week. Finally, my horrendous work misery is coming to a head with a consulting conference for 900 in New Orleans starting this Sunday - I'm part of the planning/execution team, giving five presentations, and - TRUST ME - looking forward to a dreamed-of slow-down in another 10 days. I am hoping to be back in the game before too long. In the meantime, enough about me, except that I miss each and every one of you. XOX
NOW: POST THOSE FAVORITE FAVS!
This discussion chain is to highlight the work of someone else and show a photo that you marked as +FAV (on the top of the screen) this week. Having people FAV your photo lets you know that what you did really connected with other photographers and for the new members, it really helps get that photo to the popular page. We do this post every week and it is a great way to see work you might of missed or find someone new to follow.
So find a fav from this week and include their user name and why you connected with this photo. Please don't forget to CREDIT their photo with the username!
There are two easy ways to add pictures on to the discussion.
The first is a full size photo: 1) Click on your favorite photo and bring up its page. 2)Look at the right side of your monitor, and go to the word SHARE (it is below tags) 3) go to the box and copy the long address 4) Come back to the discussion, and then paste. 5) If it is not your photo also tag the person who it belongs to so they know you love it (@name) remember no punctuation on either side of the @ and name.
The second is to have a smaller file size so to keep the site from getting overwhelmed. http://365project.org/discuss/general/1323/how-to-adding-an-image-in-a-discussion.
There were so many fabulous shots in recent days. See my page:
http://365project.org/cimes1/favourites, but I just had to choose this outstanding sooc shot by @snowy. Exceptional in every way:
I, too, loved the flamingo by @rennes. But as that's already chosen I also love this one by @beachradish- reminds me of me and my best (canine) friend, Lotto.
My favourite this week by @cattypilla because I think this collage it is a great way to record a day out and there are some really good photos in there as well.
@sbolden Lots to like about this photo... the simplicity, the light along the horizon, the water dripping of the oar, the pop of red, the composition, the peacefulness... I really like it!
@jocasta Thank you! These guys were pretty far away when I saw them - she actually had her arm around her dog and it was such a cute moment. I ran to get closer, and the pup started to fidget a bit. I also feel this way about Elvis ... I love that you liked it so much! :)
OK, I don't do this. I know I shouldn't. But I have to post twice. This shot so deserves to be seen and to be on the PP and stuff, and @baznman deserves more followers, so click on this shot and check out his project. You know you want to!
I haven't been doing much viewing and commenting for the past month, but I did see this gorgeous post by @coastandcactus whose work is truly amazing in my book!
@cmuir1963 something about this minimalist compositom by Cindy stuck a chord with me (though there were a lot of awesome images to choose from) .....two weary travellers trudging along in the silence of the night ....with the moon for company. The silhouetting effect and the way it was framed enhaces it .....!
@thebluegnu Thanks K, your faith in me never fails! Sorry no more posted but we had a disasterous trip with major car problems and cut the whole thing short. Very short! Hopefully next time!
I love the sky, and how well capture it is :)

Love it, @catsmeowb
So deliciously sharp!
It conveys something more than the photograph itself for me!
I love the b&w and the symmetry in this one by @gura
@paula365 I love this picture. It makes me smile!
@24atlantic
love everything about this
@johnnyfrs
@talea
By @msfyste
@jo13

I liked yours a lot. (If that posted, I don't do this very often.)

I also really liked Richard's @brav "Day 287 - Corn" http://365project.org/brav/365/2013-07-14 but see someone else has posted it already.
