C messaged the other day asking if we were free to meet up for coffee this morning. We were indeed. C and R lived opposite us until last year when they moved to Scotland. Down for a few days, it was lovely to catch up with them and little A and B at the Curious Goat even if it meant getting up a tad earlier than is normal for a Sunday. Fantastic brunches they do there - I had the 'Healthy' a huge plate of kale, humus, guacamole, halloumi, smoked salmon and toast. B here is a touch disgruntled because he didn't want to put on his coat - or some such unreasonable demand on him :-)
Music session near St Paul's in the afternoon - fairly busy which was nice - including Elena and C and M with their terror of a rescue dog Lily.
3 good things
1. Lovely bright if cold sunny day - always cheering.
2. Mum seems to be improving with her cold - seems in OK spirits.
3. Cooked yesterday - root vegetable soup - so no need to today - will heat that up with the new bread from the bread machine.
