The Christmas decorations finally. We took them all down on 12th night but only had time to stow them temporarily away in bags in the spare room until we got a chance to pack them back into their tissue-lined boxes. I wrapped them all up and stowed them carefully and Dave packed away all the other sundry Christmas stuff like the wreaths, window decorations, fibre-optic trees and so on.
A very busy day without even leaving the house. Big Sainsbury's order delivered and put away before I made a huge caramelised root vegetable soup out of our roots and onion mountain.
A good hour or two after packing away the Christmas stuff before an evening of intermittently thinking about and booking holidays in between watching Ghosts (US version) and eating baked potatoes for supper.

1. Christmas decorations finally away - has been hanging over me but just hadn't had a moment to tackle.
2. Dave's long-lost coffee order from Atkinsons Coffee Roasters finally arrived.
3. We've booked trips away - a long French-folky weekend in Paris with friends and 9 days in Jordan!
