Dreaming of warmer times as the rather cool weather continues, though nicely hot when the sun did come out.
Worked from home watching the showers and clouds roll by. At lunchtime, I cycled round the corner back to the academy I'd visited on the Art Trail yesterday. I'd chatted to one of the student artists about his work and ordered a couple of his bookmarks which I collected from him.
Just got home before another shower and by the time my pasta lunch was warmed up, the sun had come out. So I sat outside warming myself up while it shone a full 45 mins, possibly the longest spell all day - how lucky was I.
In Springwatch drama, the reed warbler nest was predated fascinatingly by both an adder and a grass snake. But the oystercatchers have hatched and the blue tit is still alive.
Lovely colourful bookmarks. I’m using a Sainsbury’s receipt at the moment.
