Well the pest from the west arrived today and we had lots of rain, and it got quite mild again and a bit blustery. Normal service is resumed then.
Still so much to get through at work and I'm hardly making any inroads - would help if I hadn't wandered in terribly late this morning and then a drink at lunchtime.
Headed up towards Oxford Street after work to pick up Dave's new guitar case from Ivor Mairant's - it's very light but enormous (you could probably get my melodeon in there too). Then up to the Four Lanterns in Cleveland Street to meet Dave and nosh on Greek halloumi, sea bass and baklava, before ending up at the King and Queen for the Musical Traditions Christmas party - Dan Quinn and Will Duke plus the Rakes. Usual nonsense - songs, tunes and the odd monologue or three.
