This discussion chain is to highlight the work of someone else and show a photo that you marked as +FAV (on the top of the screen) this week. Having people FAV your photo lets you know that what you did really connected with other photographers and for the new members, it really helps get that photo to the popular page. We do this post every week and it is a great way to see work you might of missed or find someone new to follow.
So find a fav from this week and include their user name and why you connected with this photo. Please don't forget to CREDIT their photo with the username!
There are two easy ways to add pictures on to the discussion.
The first is a full size photo: 1) Click on your favorite photo and bring up its page. 2)Look at the right side of your monitor, and go to the word SHARE (it is below tags) 3) go to the box and copy the long address 4) Come back to the discussion, and then paste. 5) If it is not your photo also tag the person who it belongs to so they know you love it (@name) remember no punctuation on either side of the @and name.
The second is to have a smaller file size so to keep the site from getting overwhelmed. http://365project.org/discuss/general/1323/how-to-adding-an-image-in-a-discussion.
@hopess13 you are such a doll! You just made my week (which has been crazy stressful)!!
I don't think I've posted one from @andycoleborn before, but this one is right up my alley and I connected to it instantly. The pov and tones/processing are perfect.
Tough choice this week. So many to choose from, I hate to pick one and feel like I'm dissing the others. Happily, I see a few of them have already been picked by others above.
I'm going to go with this one thrillseeker shot by Ruth Moucharafieh @ruthmouch. It captures a moment of real life. I just kind of love the nonchalance of the guy suspended high above while chatting on the phone.
@marlboromaam -- Thanks Mags! You just made my day. Funny, I didn't think much of it yesterday when I posted it, but today I kind of love it. What a differnce a day makes.
@michelleyoung This shot was an instant fav for me. I love the dark, brooding nature of that cloud with the pale corn field. This shot was chosen as one to feature on the BBC and Michelle should be very proud...no surprises as it's an amazing shot xx
@bpasko Loved the composition, detail and colouring - the intensity of his eye made this photo extremely captivating for me. I think snakes are beautiful. No phobia here ;)
My favourite photo this week is a compilation video of photos. This week Brian Baptie (@bdb3471) finished his project. We've all seen his work on the popular page and top 20. His photos are beautiful and he has put them together here in this slideshow. Take the time to view it...its truly inspiring. http://365project.org/bdb3471/365/2012-07-30
Because it is a video I cannot give you a photo here, but here is the link to the video
really really tough this week... there are quite a few photos that i really liked... but i'm picking this one by this one by @jsw0109 - something about the light, the pov and the people standing about that is so amazingly cool and eerie...
This thread is why I never bother looking at the PP anymore. The work and talent displayed here is staggers my mind and makes me strive to be a better photograher.
@webfoot Wow Paul, you make my day with the promote of my Antelope Canyon pictures. Thanks you so much. I recommend for everyone that can go to Page (Arizona) to visite the Antelope Canyon, it's the best place I visited during my USA Trip ;)
@jannkc - good choice. that is one of my fav's, too, this week. @steeler is unstoppable with his creativity and great shots. since you posted that, here's another one of my several fav's this week, by @pandorasecho just look at that incredible sky!
@summerfield Wow! I am honored and I have never even seen this thread before but there is some amazing work here. I have to anticipate scrounging through all the pictures I have adored and coming back here again to return the favor. But there are so many brilliant pictures !!
@grizzlysghost Well , I was feeling great after a terrifc week on my hols and then come home to find this! Cheers Aaron, you've just topped things off nicely :)
@nicolecampbell Wow! Thankyou so much Nicole. You've given me a much needed boost. I've been having such an ill and stressful time recently and have felt my photos are so lacklustre of late but you are such a constant and encouraging follower of mine. I really appreciate your time and comments. Thankyou xx
@psychographer - sorry to hear that you have been having a bad time of it lately. You constantly inspire me and I wish I could take photos like these. As soon as I saw this photo I fell in love with it. You have such a talent and I really enjoy looking at your photos. I hope things start to improve for you soon. x
