Post your favorite photo of your own project from this past week to share with those that may not otherwise see it. Lets also put WHY or WHAT about it you like.
There were some really great photographs last week. It is fun to see what you like of your posts as it is not always what everyone else chooses.
There are two easy ways to add pictures on to the discussion.
The first is a full size photo: 1) Click on your favorite photo and bring up its page. 2)Look at the right side of your monitor, and go to the word SHARE (it is below tags) 3) go to the box and copy the long address 4) Come back to the discussion, and then paste.
The second is to have a smaller file size so to keep the site from getting overwhelmed. http://365project.org/discuss/general/1323/how-to-adding-an-image-in-a-discussion.
This little blueberry was a beautiful accident I stumbled upon walking through the park and made what I consider to be one of the best photos I've ever taken. (so far, i hope!)
For me it's this one .. because it was number 365, because for once a portrait turned out the way I wanted it to (right down to the reflected light from the tree decorations) and because several of my family have told me that this is the best picture they have ever seen of my mum :
My favourite is a photo i posted today and took january, last year. So i think it doesn't count. This one i just took and gave me more work and refinement to take just the way i wanted, so it's my pick for the week.
Because it was the first time I saw one at my house and because the focus is spot on (view large to see best) and it came out as I could have only hoped for before!
Not the best week for me as shots have been difficult to get and it's dark and rainy outside. I bought myself these tulips and continued with my quest to self teach myself PSE
I was very happy with how this image turned out. This image came from the processing of a picture of frost. The frost was on the glass of the glass in my house's front storm door.
This is my favorite picture of the year because it shows the love between 2 twin brothers. I also love that you don't see their faces and the beautiful scenery and the sun rays shining down on them. That signifies the love from up above also. My 2 grandson's who are now 24 and just as close now as they were then.
This little hummingbird spends most of the day in this position on her tree, where she can see me whenever I come in the garden and then make her escape, but sometimes, I am really quiet and I get that capture...
It would have to be this photo because the idea of this picture is why I started my 365 project. Only took me almost 12 months to find the perfect day to do it. :)
I love this just for the fact that it was the 1st of 2013 and it was the beautiful view from our holiday accommodation..... oh to be back on holiday :)
I took this shot whilst out with my 16 year daughter. She has just started getting interested in photography. I saw this shot on the way back to the car and just had to get it. It was the first time I had deliberately set the camera to B&W settings.
I am happy with this one because I never took a book photo with the heart and my Christmas lights are in the background. I just thought it turned out nice.
This is my fave, because in my almost 5 yrs of living in Seattle, I had never been here before and because of the way your eyes are drawn to looking aaaallllll the way down into the tunnel on the right ...plus the fact that I got yelled by the transit tunnel security while taking the shot with my iPhone to "PLEASE STAY BEHIND THE YELLOW LINE!" lol!)
I like the colors of the water, the ripples in water and the fact that the bufflehead is actually in focus coming in for his landing. Love the little orange leg too.
Was inspired to do this type of shot after seeing one similar by another 365er. Was happy with the colours and focus I got with this one. Also got some positive comments.
I believe this one is my favorite for the week. It was an impromptu-get-in-the-car-fast-and-find-a-vantage-point shot and I love how it turned out. The sunset the evening before was actually prettier, but the cloud formations on this night and the silvery look to everything was very pretty.
I have always wanted to capture a cat with it's tongue hanging out but had never succeeded as it's a moment that doesn't last long. I was stalking my cat with the 50mm 1.8 that I had just received never expecting that this opportunity would present itself! It's my first prime lens so I had no idea how it really functioned. This was within the first 5 images I took with it.
I was given a macro Get Pushed challenge and was really happy with this shot of a flower pistil. I wish I could say I noticed that it looks like a ballerina before I shot it but alas.. it's awesome what still life in a photo can reveal that our eyes overlook!
This one, for a couple of reasons. I collected a bunch of my favorite shots from 2012 and put them together in this collage. December 31st was the first day I hadn't picked up my camera in over two years. I felt it deserved a break. January 1st, I had it out again and took 100+ shots. No rest for the weary. ;-)
I'm a bit behind the times in processing/posting for the last few weeks - but here is one I am really happy with. I was surprised it turned out as well as it did, as the SOOC was nothing special.
I did not plan to take a photo in this park but on my way back to the car I saw this composition which I then edited with texture in snapseed...this became my second photo of the day on Capture Wisconsin...is now a screen saver on a gentlemen's computer who's mother passed before christmas and found it comforting...and have had two offers to purchase canvas prints
First time traveling to a big city with friends for nothing more then some fireworks and a part of 400,000+ lol, and it turned out awesome! Seattle is definitely one of the best places to ring in new years in the northwest U.S.!!!!

My OH and the Princess, because I love them.
My real favourite was my end of year video that I did to start my year two album, but can't post that here :)
I tried my hand at micro waves. I only had one day of sunshine at the beach. This was my very first attempt at processing.
@jannkc
New year and new possiblities!
I love this because it was totally unplanned.

Because the pink makes me happy :)
It would have to be this photo because the idea of this picture is why I started my 365 project. Only took me almost 12 months to find the perfect day to do it. :)
This one as I put the most effort into it and it was the first time I had ever shot a smooth water long exposure shot.
I love the vibrancy of this image
I feel like I've had quite a good week! But this one is my favourite I think.
it's ssssshhhho quiet, dreamy and very relaxing......lol !!
I love this pic because it feels more like an art piece to me.
It's a bit of a cliche but I've meaning to get a shot of the baby's sweet little piggies since he was born... only took me 9 months to realise it!
I took this shot whilst out with my 16 year daughter. She has just started getting interested in photography. I saw this shot on the way back to the car and just had to get it. It was the first time I had deliberately set the camera to B&W settings.
Definitely this one. It was a blast watching my wife and daughter do pottery.
I like the angle here.
An extra from the 1st January, I've picked this one because it is the start of my new 365.
Was inspired to do this type of shot after seeing one similar by another 365er. Was happy with the colours and focus I got with this one. Also got some positive comments.
I just like it!
for nostalgia. it's my last surviving blown glass bauble.
It has to be this sunset as it got the most favs, which I was thrilled about, thanks everyone :)
Simply because I finally figured out how to keep his attention on one thing. :)
I could watch this thing for hours.....
But I prefer this (can one have 2 favs?)
Decisions,decisions!
It's just simple photo but I love it!
