En-lichen-ment #12

A newly discovered colony of reindeer and British Soldier lichens. British soldiers can often be found among other lichens. They seem to love to flourish on old rotting wood, and in this case - my old landscape timbers lining the drive and flower beds - have to be well over 20 years old and rotting away. A good home for these species of lichens.
Nice lightning in this shot, Interesting info.

@ludwigsdiana Lots of old landscape timbers are lining my driveway and old shrub beds - they're rotting away. So, provides an environment for these species to thrive. =)
