30 Shots April - Lincoln Cathedral 10

I have travelled Southwest this afternoon and I have just got into my hotel for the night; I took a couple of detours to get a couple of photographs of the cathedral for today and for tomorrow.

I think I put this shot up in my first year, the fields in the foreground were bright yellow with rape seed oil (Canola in other countries - a nicer name) but this year the field is just ploughed. The cathedral is possibly a good four or five miles from where I’m stood taking the shot.

Thank you for your views, comments and favs on yesterday’s offering. Much appreciated.
Good capture

It can literally be seen from everywhere! Nice capture despite the haze.

@carole_sandford I was wondering if that was canola you photographed yesterday. It was a beautiful yellow field.

The plowed field gives a whole different context to the magnificent cathedral.

Drive towards to Catedral and then you are in the right direction to get in town. What a great view from outside town.
