We visited our friend, Sylv, at the weekend and I spied this in her neighbour's garden. She lent me her camera to take a pic (I'd left mine deliberately at home to try to curb my enthusiasm for 365 - no chance!) Ray estimates the sunflower stalk at 8 - 9 feet.
Sunflowers always amaze me! They're so beautiful. I have never been successful at growing these giant beauties but I have grown smaller types call "Fantasias". Great shot!
