Day 7: Blue - I wonder why the flowers are orange?

Tomorrow is the start of a week of purple - my favourite colour. I've been interested so far to note how many different shades there are of each colour. I'm also interested to wonder which colours have been easiest to find to photograph and to know what effect, if any, doing this project has had on anyone.

great shot. I think each colour has had it's ups and downs, I'm finding that I am looking at so much more now than I did previously (and I thought I was looking pretty closely for photo ops before this challenge).

@ness50 Vanessa - I want first to say thank you for ALL your encouraging comments just made on my pics for the rainbow challenge - much appreciated. I'm finding too, like you , that I'm looking at much more now than before, which I wouldn't have thought possible as just being on 365 had made me so much more observant. How easy or difficult have you found the different colours for getting pics and which was your favourite colour?

@quietpurplehaze I found orange easy to find but difficult to capture - quite often it looked a bit too orange, almost red, but I did love the vibrancy of orange, I have really enjoyed the challenge, I think I have a favourite pic from each colour to be honest, but what I have enjoyed is seeing how everyone has captured the colours, I tend to do more of the close up flower shots (can't wait to get my macro lens) but this challenge has made me look for something different so I've pushed my boundaries a little. I'm looking forward to this week as I love the purple shades. I'm guessing your favourite colour is purple and I'm looking forward to seeing what you post this week.

Vanessa, I followed Kate's original list of rainbow colours which didn't include indigo soooooo I missed it out and did purple instead (you've seen some) but maybe just as well for me as I would be hopeless with indigo! Yes purple is my favourite colour and our bedroom and bathroom are purple themed and my work colleagues in my first job used to call me purple haze because I wore a lot of purple clothes!
