United States Postal Service, Helena, OH 43435 [Travel day]

I cannot find anything online about this old bank building that is now the U.S. Post Office in Helena, Ohio, ZIP code 43435. It might be interesting to know when it was built, particularly given its small size. According to wikipedia, Helena had its start in 1871 with the building of the Pittsburgh, Fort Wayne & Chicago Railroad. Population in the 2010 census, 224. Population in 2013, 222.

I did find a photo on Flickr from 2+ years ago of this building with a different color scheme … or maybe it's just really dirty right now! https://www.flickr.com/photos/postoffices/12708405304

Surely there should be some information on-line somewhere. Is there a historical society in the town?

@digitalrn I may have to enlist Clare's mom to help! I think there's a Sandusky County historical society…

@rhoing Yeah that's not too far. I could ask my Sister-In-Law to do some checking as well
