taking a wildcard tonight for the challenge because i'm a tad lazy to set up the vinegar or the oil. it's much easier to pull out this piece of cloth from the closet.
i'm not the type to wear formal dress or gowns although i can easily rock a cocktail dress. but four years ago when i had to attend our alumni formal gala, i acquiesced to wearing a gown, something i succeeded in avoiding all my young life. go figure. grandmere in an evening gown, high heels, coiffed hairdo, manicure, pedicure, the works. damn make-up artist at the salon even trimmed my eyebrows. the three-inch heels were the punishment as my bunions screamed all the time i was ballroom dancing. needless to say, i walked, in bare feet, the two blocks to where we parked our car. i didn't care.
but good thing i didn't get rid of this, or i won't have a photo for tonight. well, i'm sure i'd find something else. but who wears overalls?!?
@tara11 - tara, you are such a dear, my child. i thought i looked like a drag queen. if i wasn't lazy i would've dug the old photo but i think i'll spare you guys with the image anyway!
oh, pretty. wish we could see a photo oh you IN the gown. that would be very special, i am very sure. espcially if it was taken side-by-side with partner. what a couple you two must make when all dolled up. love your description of you walking barefoot. i always dance barefoot. ah, i am such a hick.
