walking around my usual lunchtime haunts, i come across this set of pillars of one of the buildings i pass everyday. we had a clear blue sky, a mild breeze and bright sunshine the whole day, i almost didn't want to go back to work.
the bright sunshine bounced off the shiny façade of the pillars and shadows reflected and deflected giving spectacular shapes and lines interspersed (is that even a word?) by the large bushes from the other side and by the shape of the woman sitting on one of the ledges as she talked on her cellphone.
those were spectacular shoes she's wearing, i'd have zoomed it in had she not turned and looked back so i had to pretend i was shooting elsewhere.
thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are greatly appreciated. i shall have to catch up on yours after the weekend as partner and i are going to chase some sunsets somewhere in sarnia. well, that was his 'surprise plan'. you gotta love him for doing this, although you could also strangle the bejesus out of him for not telling me this in advance. sometimes, i detest surprises.
Very nice candid shot! It almost looks like it was shot in very high ISO with a lot of noise, but you said it was lunchtime, so I think that must be an intended effect, which I really like for shot!
