i was looking around in my closet for something when i found this pair of "goggles" at the very back. they are actually a pair of jeweller's magnifying glasses and it even has LED lights on its sides. i also found little darren's light sabre that had been missing since he was eight. he probably put it inside the closet and forgot he put it there.
i wanted to do something with the magnifying glasses so i googled and it led me to "steampunk", a sub-genre of science fiction or sci-fi. grabbed the bowler hat, and all those blings i've saved over the last several months and put on clothes that could pass for something 'victorian'. i wish i found this before yesterday when i had to post for the mad hatters' sci-fi theme.
tagging this also for five plus two's "tools of the trade" theme this week, since the magnifying goggles are effectively tools of the trade, for a jeweller. now off to see the minute diamonds on my tiny ring.
