The ridiculously picturesque Kersey where they filmed Magpie Murders. After eating up everything for breakfast and checking out of the Airbnb, stopped off here to admire the gorgeous painted half-timbered cottages, with beautiful gardens and wisteria, olde worlde pub and flint church high up on a hill.
Drove to Lavenham after for giant crumpets in a pretty tea garden and then a final afternoon of music and dance. Les Hirondelles from Norwich were great as was Anna and R. I danced a bit and finished off yesterday's wine. Session after for just under an hour before we had to leave. Ate our takeaway giant sandwiches from the tea shop in the afternoon sun before heading home, easy journey of 1.5 hours.
Sounds like all the food was giant: giant breakfast, giant crumpets, giant sandwiches!
