The Whisperers

I've been reading these Charlie Parker thrillers off and on for years. In fact it's 10 years since I read the last one in the series and it took a while for me to catch up with things. Kind of gory thriller with a hint of the supernatural-horror - this one actually went a bit Raiders of the Lost Ark what with evil ne'er-do-wells after ancient artefacts getting their comeuppance eventually.

Working from home today - sun emerged a bit though still chilly. We'd planned on going out locally to see a showing of some vintage films about bringing in the may but we were both so tired, decided to stay home.

3 good things
1. Have finally found a date in common to meet up with our old neighbours.
2. My old preserved local government pension details have come through.
3. A quiet evening in.
