It has a sheep sculpture outside as, like many Suffolk towns, wool brought them prosperity.
A nice lie-in and a slap-up breakfast in our Airbnb courtesy of the generous treats in the fridge - milk, a loaf of bread, butter and jam. Dave walked with me to the high street to visit the Adnam's shop (he ended up visiting twice as it was so full of goodies) and I went on to my morning's music workshop with Skolvan, learning some of their tricksy, brisk Breton dances.
Grabbed lunch in The Fork with Heather and Anna also joined by Simon G. Rather slow service, but very tasty smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on sourdough. Left me only enough time to nip into the charity shop before the afternoon workshop learning tunes with Dave and Simon. Did manage 10 mins in the Adnam's shop after.
Quick turnaround at home before we met Anna in the King's Head. Nice crab and avocado pot to start but the puniest amount of halloumi salad as a main. When they didn't have the cheese board available I had a very mild hissy fit and ordered some artisan bread which I wolfed down, so hungry was I still.
Bal was excellent with Dave and Simon followed by Skolvan again. My knees did play up though so watched much of it feeling only a little sorry for myself. Home to catch-up on the Eurovision voting over snacks. Finland were robbed.
