Poison

Well if that is not the colour of poison I don't know what is. Absinthe, absolutely vile it is. Has had a bit of a bad press especially in 19th century France as it was seen as an incitement to violence and general bad behaviour and the ruination of poets and other tortured souls.

But basically it's just vile.

And I like mostly anything alcoholic.

Hmm - wouldn't be my number one choice but better than Campari. Having said that I rather like the Queen Mum's favourite tipple - Campari and bitter lemon. Sorry - nothing to do with Absinthe!

It's a beautiful colour though?! I know about it from van Gogh (not personally) but never seen it so that's interesting!

I bought a bottle of Limoncello today, apparently it's good on ice cream too. You can drink it with just ice or lemonade or tonic I suppose ...hope I do like as it wasn't cheap! Never tried this green stuff but very pretty!
