Black and White Challenge #55 is closed for entries, finalists have been selected, and it is time to vote!
This round’s theme was Group f/64, which trued to “present the camera’s vision as clearly as possible” or "transcribe the exact features of what was before the camera”. I was a little worried proposing this theme, afraid that people wouldn’t grasp the concept, or be inspired by it. But we had 28 entries from 14 photographers, which is about average (looking at the last 7 rounds). And what wonderful entries!!! I really enjoyed everybody’s entries, THANKS to all for playing along!

Of course, the flip side is that I had to pick the finalists. Which means that a lot of those wonderful photos didn’t get chosen. I simply couldn’t narrow to 5, so I went with 6, but I really wanted to pick 8 or 10! I’m sad for that, but it is the way of the game, right?
all entries can be seen here:

Anyway, enough pontificating, here’s the finalists, in random order. Vote by entering the number of the photo you choose in the comments. I’ll leave voting open through Saturday, 8/15
Congratulations to Wendy @farmreporter for her winning B&W Challenge #55! It was very close, with the last couple of votes providing the margin of victory.
Wendy gets the honor of hosting the next round, B&W-56, and picking the theme!!
Thanks agaong to all who entered, and who voted! See y'all next round!
