Day 7: Purple - amethyst

- a chunk in our bathroom, incredibly difficult to photograph well..................

365: what a great site - you can make lovely new friends, see parts of the world you will never see in person, learn so much, not only photography- related and now I feel this challenge has sharpened both my photographic and observational skills and confirmed how important colour is to me.

Aha - Feb? I love amethyst and Ray gave me this piece on some occasion, (don't remember which - had so many in 43 years
(42 of marriage+ one)!) also have a ring which was a gift after the birth of Clare.
Glad you like the shot - took quite q few to get it.
