i'm trying my hand at this kind of processing (selective colouring, is it?). i'm not really a fan of this processing and i don't plan on doing this often. but we're on a treasure hunt for "yellow".
i had ordered a small bouquet for our new year's eve dinner table but i was not too keen on the festive reds that my florist friend had at her shop. she had a few yellow roses so i settled for them and she made me this gorgeous bouquet. my dinner table looked like a million dollars but i forgot to take a photo. the bouquet is still looking gorgeous though.
I think you accomplished the selective coloring goal admirably! And you found your yellow! Good job! I think you have to do selective coloring with a purpose. It needs to make sense rather than just be a gimmick. It works here because of the quote- and the bouquet is a great object to highlight one specific rose.
