this morning before grandmere summerfield left for work, she told little wahoo that she would be late coming home because she was meeting with her book editor. little wahoo asked what would grandmere like to photograph for her album tonight so she can prepare it. they both read the list and crossed off the items that had already been done. grandmere said science, costume, explore and shark are quite difficult to do. grandmere said since she would be coming home late, they should do something light or easy.
wahoo tried to capture some sunlight by putting it in a bottle, but when the sun had set, it disappeared. she thought of the sleek little flashlight that darren liked to play with but wahoo was too small to carry it. then wahoo remembered that grandmere said they should just do something light. a light bulb (no pun intended) lit up above little wahoo's head. she ran to the hallway closet and found the item that was perfect for the treasure hunt.
when grandmere arrived, little wahoo gave her two feathers. "why two?" grandmere asked, her eyebrows furrowed. to which little wahoo replied, "it's okay, they're very LIGHT anyway!"
grandmere summerfield was very pleased that little wahoo was not just a pretty purple cow but a smart purple cow as well. so here's little wahoo with her two light feathers. as you can see, she was smiling for the camera.
