"i'm baaaack!" by summerfield

"i'm baaaack!"

grandmere is in the middle of cooking supper when she sees the golden clouds through the kitchen window. she looks out and sees the beautiful rainbow across the sky. she gets her camera and runs outside. drat! the camera won't start. she forgets that she has taken the battery off the camera last night. she runs back inside to get the battery pack and almost slams on grandpa.

"out of my way!" she screams. grandpa is left spinning like a top, wondering what has happened.

grandmere summerfield is really excited taking a photo of the rainbow as the sun sets. grandmere believes that when you spot a rainbow something good will happen. just then she hears a familiar voice from behind.

"bon soir, grandmere."

grandmere turns around and little wahoo is standing there with her little luggage.

"oh, little wahoo, quelle surprise!" says grandmere. "and you came with a rainbow!"

"i did?" asks little wahoo. she looks up at the sky with massive clouds which looked golden as the light of the setting sun is reflected on them. she sees the rainbow and she smiles. "i guess, i did bring you a rainbow, grandmere."

grandmere summerfield asks little wahoo to stand by the fence and she takes a photo of her with the rainbow behind her. little wahoo smiles.

"you're just in time for supper, little wahoo," says grandmere after she takes a few shots. "i just made seafood risotto for supper and it has shrimp, your favourite!"

"oh, grandmere, paris is beautiful, but i still prefer your cooking," says little wahoo as she embraces grandmere.

I'm so glad Little Wahoo has returned because Little Piggy declared she was to be the "Same September, Same Subject" model no ifs, ands, or buts. She just KNEW that Little Wahoo might have some adventures to share on 365 and she didn't want to miss out! Too bad we couldn't join you for dinner, it sounds scrumptious!

@karenann - thank you, KA. the seafood risotto was upstaged by the rainbow and little wahoo. it was supposed to be my post for today. it's not the real risotto, it's the poor man's risotto, made with left over brown rice, chopped red and green bell peppers, mushroom and onions sauteed in olive oil with tuna and shrimp and a can of campbell cream of mushroom soup. voila! instant risotto.

@sarasdadandmom - hahaha! i wish it's like that every time, terry. most times i'm in awe of something and it would be too late to realize i had a camera in my hand. i had more lost opportunities than good ones. thank you, terry.
