the original can only be viewed once, each one is unique, each eye sees it differently. it changes by the day, by the hour, by the minute, even by the second. you can capture it in words, in film, in movies, or paint it in canvass. each one is unique, one of a kind, never repeated in exactly the same way.
this is lake huron, taken from point clark in northwestern ontario. the sun was still high up in the horizon but in under an hour, it had set behind those magnificent clouds.
i meant to post this last sunday instead of the boats, but i shot this in raw, unaware, so i couldn't see the files in the MS viewer. but here it is, just a copy of the original that had long gone.
thank you, ladies and gents, for your visits and comments; greatly appreciated.

once again, i apologize for my lack of commenting on your albums, but i'm trying my darndest best. i've not had sleep as my brother in chicago has had a transplant operation last night and i had to keep the in-law company over the phone.
tonight he hasn't waken up yet from his operation, his body is rejecting the new kidney so they had put him on dialysis; his blood pressure is dangerously low, he's not breathing on his own and the prognosis at the moment is 50-50. the medical team is giving his body all the resources to recover, and it's up to him if he wants to be well. and of course, everything's up to Him and His will.
goodnight everyone. i hope you all get a good sleep. i know i won't.
I am praying for your brother and you. When I first saw this I thought of how stunning this shot was (I still do) but more importantly is your family and I will remember to continue to pray.
@pamfromcalgary - thank you, pam. i am in awe everyday when i look at the sky, but views like this makes me want to fall down on my knees, it was so beautiful to have witnessed it.
@olivetreeann - they are, that's why i feel bad when i want to capture the sunset and i couldn't for some reason or another. whenever i remind myself that there's going to be another day to see it, i also stop myself and say, what if there will be no tomorrow for me? thank you, ann.
@karenann - thank you, KA. you are such a sweet person, i know it!
I am praying for you, your brother and family, summerfield. Take care.
