the flash, i mean. partner and i had dinner at eastside mario's (bah-dah-boom!). i ordered my fave dish, the scallop and shrimp pasta. i was trying to look like a pro photog by not using the flash but i couldn't get the natural colour of the food. so i turned on the flash and as you can see, i got it. and then i ate it. and now i have heartburn. i think i ate too much. or maybe it was the bag of chips i ate this afternoon, which i've been craving for a few days now. i rarely ever eat chips and now i remember why.

thank you for your prayers for my brother. his condition is a little bit better but he's still on life support as he's been heavily sedated and on a lot of anti-biotics. we'll see what happens tomorrow. i'm planning to make a trip down to chicago but i may either fly or take the train as i don't want to stress myself more by driving (hahaha! you know why i don't want to drive...if i do i won't be able to shoot!).
