star lanterns

the star is a popular ornament for Christmas. we have read stories that a bright star guided the holy family in its journey to avoid king herod's crazy wrath and the same star guided the three kings in finding the newborn Christ. that's why a tree topper is usually a star, or in scenes depicting the nativity a star is always present.

this is the last of decorations and ornaments saturday for this challenge.
