my get pushed partner this week is paul @salemslot and his push for me is to photograph my interpretation of English tea.
the part of afternoon tea i love so much is the intricate sugar cubes. i don't use sugar (yes, for someone who has a sweet tooth) in my tea, but i like these cute sugar cubes. every so often i'd buy them at the tea emporium so i could serve them when i have company for afternoon tea.
wow..I never knew about these fancy sugar cubes...lol...I imagine they don't get picked up with the fingers either...no...they probably have a stainless steel sugar grabber..nice composition..theres that tea ball thingie again
@roth - picked up with a little silver spoon; i just pick it with my hand. hahahaha! not! i won't even touch it with anything but i serve it with a little tong, silver of course. ;-) whenever i'm invited for tea, i just go for those little sandwiches. thank you, sue.
@valpak - yes, they do. i'd have loved to have gotten the ones with tiny baby pink roses but they're out. frankly i've never used it on my tea or coffee so i don't know how they taste. but i would imagine they're sweet! :-P thank you, val.
From the thumbnail I thought they were small pieces of cake! They are beautifully decorated but look incredibly sweet. I also do not use sugar in tea or coffee. Very nice composition and I think you have definitely met the challenge head on!
@monaalta - thank you, alta.
@claireuk - thank you, claire,
@aurorajane - control yourself, aj! hahaha. thank you,
@abhijit - i used to do that, the first few times i've seen this, thank you, ab.
