a just-blooming hibiscus flower perches on the rusty end of an iron gate. the mild weather has tricked a lot of plants into budding flowers, including the rose plants that partner bought during the summer. they had come back after all its leaves fell off and grew taller with lots of buds and a promise of beautiful red and peach blooms. must remember to take a photo.
365 was down for several hours last night and all i got whenever i tried going to the site was "ooops!" frankly thought i was having withdrawal symptoms not being able to log in, so i entertained myself by processing some photographs that i have to upload on my blog so partner's daughter can look them up and choose the photographs she wanted to have printed. i must've processed a month's worth of photograph. so watch out for some fillers in the days to come. one realization: i take good and sometimes excellent photographs (if i may say so myself) and i also take bad and crappy photographs. tee-hee!
What a lovely colour hibiscus, so bright. I like the contrast of the delicate flower and the solid gate. You did do a lot of processing didn't you! I've just got photoshop and will now have to try and figure out how to use it!!
@678tabby - thank you, june. i have photoshop on my laptop for a year now and i've just started using it. hard to figure out, but maybe because i'm not so keen really on processing. but i think if one puts his/her mind into it, it's easy. my mind is just somewhere else right now. :-)
