coming home from work yesterday i passed by this fire hydrant near my apartment building and came upon this scene: a denim jacket draped around it. the jacket looked not bad just probably need a bit of washing, it didn't even reaked of any unpleasant odor (but of course i didn't really get that close to it!) but i wondered why it would be there. now, this part of the danforth is slowly becoming a favourite among the street people to park their arses around ever since the soup kitchen was opened at the church nearby. so i suppose a street person left it there. i really would've wanted to get a closer shot for a different perspective but some of them people have become very "enterprising", like they'd ask you for a ridiculous amount of money just for asking directions.
anyway, back to the jacket. it's kind of weird that this actually looked like there's a small person wearing this jacket. the half part of my mind that's in the gutter sees breasts while my more reasonable half sees a midget, kinda like in the movie E|T when the children needed to get ET out to the wilderness during hallowe'en.
Maybe someone doesn't like yellow and covered it. Or it might be a signal for someone to stop at the yellow fire hydrant that is covered with the denim jacket. There maybe and exchange in the making. I know my mind is wandering, but I wonder.
