forkin' feather! by summerfield

forkin' feather!

i should one day take a photo of my window sill. it's full of small stuff, thingamajigs, you know, stuff I've accumulated thinking future photo opp. never happened until tonight looking for a posting. so the cheap peacock feather i found in chinatown found a use for today.

it's a long time but the children are asleep after i tricked them. they were so tired but didn't want to go to bed. so i told them we'd play sleep and the longest one to pretend sleeping wins a prize. kids like getting a prize, my grandchildren included. now i think i should also try to get a few wink as i could hardly open my eyes. and my back is sore. this business of having grandchildren over certainly is a hard one.

good night, folks!
Love this in B&W! Interesting combination of objects.

Creative, two totally unrelated objects but they work really well together! It sounds like you are enjoying the grandkids despite the fact that it has tired you out!

Reminds me of my kids early New Years eves when we just changed the clock back a couple hours and turned the TV to an eastern celebration and had them in bed by ten fifteen
