it is officially the cold season. i had my long winter coat on this morning as i couldn't stand the cold on my neck and back anymore, although i'm still wearing regular shoes instead of boots. i had to pass by the big park near my building and hunted for the perfect maple leaf. took me a while to sift through the pile of leaves and of course, i was leery that dogs or cats (and by jove, probably even humans) could've peed on them. or worst. so i had to wash the leaf with a good lather of soap and lots of water before drying it out and drying it with my hair dryer. after all that trouble, it occurred to me that i could've just put a tape around the stem instead of doing all that soaping. duh! me.
no funny story tonight for you guys. i'm going to retire for the night and see if i could fight off this cough and dizziness which i'm afraid might lead to flu if i push myself too much.

Are you kidding? Don't you think washing and blow-drying a leaf is funny? Ok, maybe a little funny-odd but a good dose of funny-haha as well, but it's still funny! Rest well my friend- we want you to stay healthy!
It looks like you have got that deadly maple leaf disease - causes dizziness and confusion! I'm not going to ask you why you did this ( apart from the lovely colour of both leaf and lips) but do hope you can get rid of this ailment!
